Scholarships, Fellowships, and Grant Opportunities for U.Va. Undergraduates
Administered by the Jefferson Scholars Foundation, Jefferson Scholarships are awarded to highly gifted students who combine the qualities that Mr. Jefferson championed: leadership, scholarship, and citizenship. Each year approximately 35 students are awarded Jefferson Scholarships, with selection based entirely on merit. Jefferson Scholars excel in a wide range of endeavors, and they eagerly lend their talents and energies to the community around them.
Student Financial Services provides a comprehensive list of scholarships available to University students. Included on the list are need-based grants and fellowships, state grants and scholarships, and links to scholarship searches.
The Center’s site details 27 different scholarship and fellowship opportunities that are available to UVa students during or after their time at the University.
The International Studies Office (ISO) provides information on a number of Study Abroad scholarships, including the ISO Scholarship for UVA undergraduates who participate in a UVA Abroad program during the fall, spring, summer or January term.
The UVA Alumni Association maintains a list of alumni-funded scholarships available to undergraduate students of all years, including rising first-year and transfer students.

The Curry School offers scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate students. Awards are available through individual departments within Curry as well as to students selected by a faculty committee.
The School of Nursing Alumni Association is passionate about supporting current students and maintains a number of alumni-supported merit scholarships.
